FLORIDA USA GYMNASTICS COMPETITION IMPORTANT INFORMATION (Click on Me)

STATE MEET QUALIFYING SCORES – 32.00AA for Level 1 – 10 & all XCEL divisions

            

To Enter State meets: Register at Meet Reservations at USA Gym website After entering, pay your fees due as per Host club instructions –

ATHLETES ARE NOT CONSIDERED ENTERED UNTIL ENTRY FEES ARE PAID IN FULL LATE FEES APPLIED AFTER DEADLINE DATES: $50 per athlete plus $100 club fine Refunds: NO REFUNDS AT STATE MEETS

Level 1-5 & XCEL Bronze and Silver will compete youngest to oldest OR oldest to youngest depending on the year. Level 6-8 and XCEL Gold – Sapphire will compete according to the DRAW. Level 9/10 will generally compete youngest to oldest. Athletes must compete in their scheduled session and age group per the Draw or set schedule at all State Championships.

CRITERIA FOR JUDGES SELECTION FOR USA GYMNASTICS STATE MEETS

1 – Judge must adhere to all Rules and Policy at all sanctioned competitions

2 – Judge must be a Florida USA GYMNASTIC member for at least 2 years

NAWGJ Florida membership will be required if Florida assigning organization (2 years)

3 – Judge must have actively judged in Florida for a minimum of 2 years

4 – National and Regional assigned judges will be assigned to state meets at their assigned levels when possible

5 – Location of Meet site will be considered (expense to Meet host for travel)

6 – Consider clinics attended & in gym time

7 – Other considerations to include

Availability form for state meets submitted by deadline date

Volunteer work

Efficiency and consistency at competitions

Professionalism at competitions to include cooperation with meet host, meet referee, other judges and coaches/athletes.
